St. Kitts is one of the best kept secrets in the Caribbean. It is surrounded by pristine beauty, unspoilt beaches and tropical landscape. 23 miles long and 5 miles across at its widest, encompassing an area of 68 square miles.
The name St. Kitts is a shortened form of its official name, St. Christopher, given to it by Christopher Columbus when he landed here in 1493.
The island support a population of about 36,000.

The island of St. Kitts has varied architectural structures, some of which date back to the 17th century, with architectural influences from the French & English settlers who occupied the territory at that period.
There are more than 200 historical sites to be found around the island including homes, government buildings, plantation houses and the World Heritage listed Brimstone Hill National Park.
